About AYURMASTER

Born from a University Lab.
Built for a Lifetime of Wellness.

AYURMASTER is a premium Japanese botanical wellness brand created by Ichiban Life Corporation, a spin-off from Yokohama City University. It brings together 5,000 years of Ayurvedic wisdom and 30+ years of published longevity research, now available in Singapore.

Philosophy

Our Philosophy

Living in Singapore means navigating year-round UV exposure, high humidity and the demands of a fast-paced lifestyle. AYURMASTER was built on the belief that the right botanical combination, rigorously researched and precisely formulated, can support daily wellness from the inside out.

Rather than chasing single hero ingredients, AYURMASTER studies how botanicals work together. Each proprietary Ayucelra® formulation is the result of screening hundreds of herbs and retaining only those proven to complement one another in cellular research models.

The Name

The Meaning of AYURMASTER

"Ayur" in Sanskrit means life and longevity. "Master" reflects the depth of expertise: in Ayurvedic botanical knowledge, in cellular science, and in the craft of formulation.

AYURMASTER means "Master of Longevity", a name that reflects not just a brand identity, but a 30-year research commitment to understanding how cells age and how botanicals can support a longer, healthier life.

Heritage

Inspired by Ayurveda

Ayurveda, the world’s oldest comprehensive wellness system, has documented more than 10,000 plant species over 5,000 years. It is the origin of both Eastern and Western herbal medicine traditions, and is recommended by the World Health Organisation as a reliable, safe system of knowledge.

AYURMASTER draws on this heritage for its botanical selection philosophy, pairing it with modern Japanese cell science to create formulations that are both grounded in tradition and validated through research.

The Researcher Behind AYURMASTER

Professor Emeritus
Dai Ayusawa

Professor Dai Ayusawa is Professor Emeritus at Yokohama City University and the founder of the Longevity Science Laboratory, the research institution behind AYURMASTER's formulations.

Over more than 30 years, Prof. Ayusawa's team has published widely on cellular ageing and rejuvenation, screening hundreds of Ayurvedic botanicals through rigorous cell science. His work, including the 2005 'Unbalanced Growth Model' of cellular senescence, forms the scientific foundation of every Ayucelra® formulation.

His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals including Scientific Reports, Journal of Integrative Medicine, Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology and Indian Journal of Experimental Biology, and has resulted in 4 Japanese patents protecting AYURMASTER's core botanical blends.

A dedicated herb research and collection centre ensures raw materials come from optimal growing environments. Every batch is HPLC-tested before use, with approximately 70–80% rejected for not meeting quality standards.

"The key is not a single herb, but the combination: the way Ayurvedic tradition assembled botanicals to work synergistically. Our role is to verify that wisdom through modern cell science."

— Prof. Dai Ayusawa, Yokohama City University
